Beginning with a 16mm Bolex camera at King’s College in London, BriAnna has developed an image making practice that reports from and responds to her exterior and interior worlds. 

She has created and directed live video art projections for chamber-pop band Gem Club, in addition to directing several of their music videos. In 2014, BriAnna created a live performance for the release of Gem Club’s album “In Roses” and performed with them at Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. 

In 2012, BriAnna co-wrote and directed a one man show with filmmaker and raconteur Michael Pope. The show premiered at 59E59 Theaters in New York City before a successful month-long run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

She has travelled as an independent artist and in 2009, she was a selected poster artist in the first International Roaming Biennial of Tehran. She has conducted independent creative studies in Iceland, Mexico, Berlin, Egypt and Tehran. 

BriAnna also produces music videos for independent musicians and in 2009, her Who Killed Amanda Palmer video series was released on DVD by Roadrunner Records. She concluded the year producing a film commission for Boston Symphony Orchestra’s New Years Eve performance. BriAnna has since produced media projects for Girl Scouts of America, Sony BMG and Children’s Hospital Boston. Her music videos have premiered on NPR, The Fader, MTV/Logo Networks, Australia’s iconic RAGE television program, Pitchfork, People, Spin, Stereogum, and Blender Magazine websites.

She lives and works in New York City.
